Flight to Gdansk will last an hour, and tickets can be booked from Thursday. For now, Ryanair announced that it will be a holiday route only. The planes between Wroclaw and Gdansk will fly from July until the end of August. Let's remind the Polish carrier will also handle the connection with Gdansk. Flying to the seaside on the board of Polish airlines will be possible five days a week: on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays — twice a day, and on Tuesdays and Thursdays — one time a day.
Ryanair sees a great potential in domestic flights and wants to develop a network of connections from Wroclaw airport. In September 2013 the Irish carrier announced that Wroclaw-Warsaw Modlin flights will be scheduled from April 2014. Before it happened, Ryanair announced another change — Wroclaw-Gdansk connection from July.
"New Ryanair offer will complement that of Eurolot, which launches flights to Gdansk from March. This offer is not only for those passengers travelling on business, who typically use this type of connection, but also for people who are planning a holiday at the seaside," says Jarosław Sztucki, the Director of Marketing and Sales of Wroclaw Airport (Port Lotniczy Wrocław). "Carriers' decisions mean a bigger choice and more convenient flight times."
