- In the summer period of 2018, bypass routes of public transport lines will be caused by investments in 4 locations. Minor track works will be performed at night, which will not affect the operation of trams.
Kazimierza Wielkiego/Ruska
The biggest changes will be caused by renovation works at the very busy Kazimierza Wielkiego/Ruska intersection. Track workers will replace tram junctions, and the routes of 10 tram lines will change.
- Changes will cover the following lines: 0L and 0P – suspended (line 0 will operate), 3, 6, 7, 10, 14, 15, 20, 23 (suspended, the bus 723 will run), 24 and 33. The works will last 3 weeks.
Hubska/Gliniana
Changes of tram and bus routes are also due to the construction of a new tram trackage at ul. Hubska.
- The routes of tram lines 8, 31 and 32 will be shortened to the Gajowa stop (located in front of the intersection of ul. Gliniana and ul. Gajowa).
Pułaskiego
Later, road works in that area will begin under the railway bridge at ul. Pułaskiego. This fragment of the street will be completely closed for traffic, and bus lines will operate on bypass routes. The works will last around 2-3 months.
- The routes of the bus line 122 and night bus lines 206 and 240 will change.
Pl. Grunwaldzki
Tram routes will also change significantly due to works at the Grunwaldzka axis. On 23rd June, the replacement of the road surface in the tram trackage started there. This resulted in changes of operation of the tram line 33.
The tram line 33 runs from the Rondo Reagana roundabout in both directions through ul. Skłodowskiej-Curie, the Zwierzyniecki Bridge and ul. Wróblewskiego to the Zoo terminus at the intersection of ul. Wróblewskiego and ul. Koper
