Prestigious European award
Emerging Europe Awards is a contest held for countries, cities and start-ups of Central & Eastern Europe in 10 categories (apart from City FDI Promotion Strategy of the Year, they include also FDI Project of the Year, Global Market Champion of the Year, Research & Development Initiative of the Year, Social Impact Start-Up of the Year, or Tourist Champion of the Year).
The jury of the contest consists of influential experts, including Peter Stracar – President of GE Europe, and Olga Grygier-Siddons – President of PwC Central andEastern Europe, and one of the keynote speakers at the Emerging Europe conference (under which prizes are awarded) was Günter Verheugen – former European Commissioner for Enlargement (1999-2004).
