Easier access to Jagodno from March 3. The Transport Department of the Municipal Office (Wydział Transportu Urzędu Miejskiego) will send additional buses to the housing estate during heavy traffic in the morning and afternoon, as well as at night. Changes have been arranged with the councils of Jagodno and Gaj estates, just as the residents wished. "The changes in the timetables for the bus lines 110, 310 and night buses 255 will be implemented on March 3, 2014," says Adam Więcek from the Transport Department. The first change is that the bus line number 110 will be strengthened and will take over the route of the less popular peak line 310 which was suspended after winter holidays. Its route will run between Jagodno and Wroclaw Main Station. There will be 2 additional courses during the morning peak from 6:55 AM to 7:20 AM in the timetable of the bus line number 110, running from Iwiny (Rondo) to Wroclaw Main Station. Going further, the buses will run every 15 minutes from the afternoon peak from around 3:00 PM until around 6:00 PM. "All the residents who contacted the council estates submitted such proposals, especially when it comes to night buses. The changes that will be introduced in the near future will certainly receive a positive response," says Małgorzata Konieczna, the leader of Jagodno housing estate council. Additionally, more buses of line 255 will run to Jagodno at night. At the moment there are only two of them. After the changes, all the buses of line 255 will run the longer route: Sępolno — Iwiny (Rondo) — Sępolno.
"Great news. We have estimated that it would take 15 minutes instead of an hour to get to Jagodno," says Jakub, a student from Jagodno. 255 line is run by MPK buses — Municipal Communication Company (Miejskie Przedsiębiorstwo Komunikacyjne, MPK) — from the bus depot at Grabiszyńska street.
