The centre will employ up to 800 persons. The company has production plants, R&D centres and shopping centres in 50 countries worldwide.

The Schaeffler Group is a global automotive and industrial supplier. It manufactures precise components and systems for engines, transmissions and chassis, as well as roller bearings and plain bearings for many types of industrial use. It employs 92,000 persons and its revenues totalled 14 billion EUR in 2017.
