For thirty years, the band consisted of Zbigniew Dziewiątkowski, his wife Izabella Skrybant-Dziewiąkowska and Zbigniew Adamkiewicz. After the death of both guitarists – particularly Zbigniew Dziewiątkowski, who composed most of the band’s songs – the legend of Tercet Egzotyczny seemed to have reached the end. However, as a result of Izabella’s decision, the band survived; today its guitarists are well-known Wroclaw musicians – blues bassist Włodzimierz Krakus and jazz guitarist Janusz Konefał. As far as vocals are concerned, Izabella Skrybant-Dziewiątkowska is accompanied by her two daughters Katarzyna and Anna, as well as Gaja Tyralska, both in the studio and on the stage.
On 15 December, Universal Music Polska will release the band’s new triple album “Tercet Egzotyczny - 50 lat legendy polskiej muzyki” [Tercet Egzotyczny - 50 Years of the Legend of Polish Music]. Some of the songs from this album will be performed by the group during its traditional charity concert several days later. For more information, see:
