Students – stay in Wroclaw!
- Most students went to their hometowns since Rector’s Days had been announced. But some students work, they have stayed in Wroclaw and I understand it perfectly. Dear students, stay in Wroclaw. This is a request to those who did not leave the city. Take care of yourself, take care of your families. Do not move between cities.
Actions in Wroclaw
A total of 315 requests were received by Wroclaw Support Centre. The most frequently asked questions are: rent for PLN 1, support for Wroclaw entrepreneurs and several questions regarding PIT and VAT.
We are also working on a support package for cultural, sports and NGOs. Details after Easter.
Together with Potrafię Pomóc Foundation, we donated 50 pillows and sleeping bags for the medical staff to the hospital on Koszarowa Street.
MOPS (City Social Welfare Centre) employees deliver meals to almost 200 people: seniors, people with disabilities or children for whom lunch at school was often the only big meal during the day. Meals are prepared by Wroclaw restaurants.
WCRS (Wroclaw Centre for Social Development) also takes actions that support clients in a very difficult situation, e.g. by shopping for food or delivering parcels. Our most needy seniors are covered by assistance.
In addition, WCRS has implemented online classes for seniors. These include meetings with a dietitian or advice and explanations regarding the latest restrictions. Registration by e-mail [email protected]
