These rules apply to all means of transport, including mass and private transport and crossing the border on foot.
Vaccine exempts from quarantine
Persons vaccinated against COVID-19 are exempt from the quarantine. This refers to persons who received a certificate on the performance of vaccination with a vaccine approved for marketing in the European Union.
Apart from that, the compulsory quarantine does not apply, among others, to:
- professional drivers,
- commodity and passenger traffic service personnel,
- persons crossing the border for professional or business reasons,
- secondary school, university and doctoral students attending educational institutions in Poland,
- sailors, fishermen and other members of sea and inland vessel crews,
- aircraft crews,
- persons working or providing services on ships or offshore oil rigs and drilling rigs,
- train personnel and other employees needed to perform freight transport services.
