This year’s 50th jubilee edition of the famous Wrocław jazz festival will take place from the 4th till the 13th of April and will abound in many thrilling concerts. There will be an opportunity to see and listen to a number of world-famous musicians, particularly from the USA: singer Gregory Porter (who has recently won the Grammy Award), saxophonist Kenny Garrett (who will perform with his own quintet and will run a master’s workshop for students of the Academy of Music (Akademia Muzyczna), saxophonist Houston Person (one of the great musicians of the departing generation), trumpeter Terrence Blanchard, or Peter Cincotti, who plays a particularly atmospheric kind of jazz. "We tried to select quite a large spectrum of jazz music", admits Igor Pietraszewski, a member of the Artistic Board of the Festival.

Where can you find the price-list for particular events? At www.jazznadodra.pl in the Program tab. Prices range from PLN 15 to 200 (for the final SBB Reunion concert on the 13th of April), and the entrance to competition performances on the 8th and 9th of April is free.
