Being held under the theme 'Time for new leaders: shaping the future together', the 23rd Economic Forum will attract more than 6,000 participants from various corners of the world ready to debate on the challenges faced by the modern world.
Economic Forum in Karpacz: 6,000 participants, 350 debates and panels
The invited guests will include Deputy Prime Minister Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz, Deputy Prime Minister Krzysztof Gawkowski, Nicole Alexander – the former Head of Global Marketing at Meta (Facebook), or photojournalist Ron Haviv, who has become world-famous for his photo reports from war crime sites.
Polish showbiz figures will also appear at the Forum. Famous actress Katarzyna Figura will be a panellist at one of the debates. Olympic athlete and TV personality Robert Korzeniowski will be present, too. Apart from them, the Carpathian meeting will be attended in large numbers by politicians, CEOs, businessmen and prominent scientists, who will have the opportunity to share their views in around 350 debates and panels.
Economic Forum. The impact of artificial intelligence on the ongoing revolution in society
During this year's conference, an AI Forum will be organised in co-operation with the Ministry of Digital Affairs and the biggest universities in Poland to address the key issues of the impact of Artificial Intelligence on the revolution that is taking place in society, as well as in public and commercial service sectors.
The participants will discuss the issues and challenges to be faced by the market in view of the fundamental technological change using AI.
They will also wonder to what extent investments in research and cutting-edge technologies involving AI in many areas of life will allow the European Union to rebuild its competitiveness towards global economies and ensure its security.
Report on the state of economy in Poland and countries of Central and Eastern Europe – presentation at the Economic Forum in Karpacz
During the 23rd Economic Forum, the Report of the Warsaw School of Economics and the Economic Forum 2024, the most comprehensive scientific study of the state of economy in Poland and countries of Central and Eastern Europe, will be presented. Prepared by experts from the Warsaw School of Economics, a leading Polish university, the report describes current trends and socio-economic phenomena, enabling leaders in various areas to make key decisions.
The initiator and organiser of the event is the Institute for Eastern Studies Foundation. The main partner is Lower Silesia; other partners are the City of Wroclaw and the City of Karpacz.
