According to the regulation of the Prime Minister, the obligation to cover the mouth and nose using clothing or mask pertains to “being outside of the place of residence or stay”.
Obligation to cover the nose and mouth
- in public transportation
- in cars, if inside there are people who do not live together
- in publicly available locations, including roads and squares, in religious sites, shopping centres, shopping facilities and in marketplaces;
- in green areas, especially: in parks, promenades, boulevards, botanical gardens, zoological gardens, historic gardens, and on the beaches;
- in forest areas, especially: in forest parking lots, forest education places, camping places.
No obligation to cover the nose and mouth
- in a car intended to transport not more than 9 people including the driver, when inside there are people who live together
- for kids up to 4 years old
- for people who cannot cover the nose or mouth because of breathing difficulties
- for people who cannot cover or uncover the nose or mouth by themselves
