Each driver of MPK Wrocław will be entitled to stop the bus or tram driven by him in order to tell any passenger willing to travel without covering his nose and mouth to leave the vehicle.
In the case of overcrowding, the driver will be entitled to refuse entry into the vehicle to any further persons. Moreover, the Operating Centre of MPK Wrocław will be in constant touch with drivers. In each case of overcrowding, MPK services will dispatch an extra bus that would take over some passengers if possible.
MPK Wrocław’s actions in response to new restrictions:
- information campaign for passengers: messages on LCDs in vehicles, in social media and on doors of vehicles,
- current monitoring of compliance with passenger limits in vehicles,
- more frequent joint inspections with the police and city guard in trams and buses.
