Express Microgrants – this year’s last recruitment

The search for new proposals of housing estate activities in this year’s last edition of Microgrants will last from 1st till 15th September. Time is important, as there will be very little of it for the implementation of proposals – slightly more than two months from the announcement of results at the beginning of October till the last day for closing the project.

What can you submit?

Mainly projects adapted to current conditions, in which gathering in larger groups is not recommended and it is necessary to take care of common safety and health, e.g., by covering one's mouth and nose.

It is also worth planning activities on a slightly smaller scale than usually, which will ensure their safe progress and timely implementation.

How to submit a project?

The organisers are waiting for ideas in the field of animation, recreation, social activation and education, ideas connected with all types of art and other culture-forming activities.

The recruitment is constantly divided into three paths:

  • for natural persons (including entrepreneurs) and informal groups,
  • for youth groups (persons aged between 13 and 21 years),

For non-governmental organisations (NGOs) operating for up to 5 years and older NGOs whose revenue for the last closed financial year did not exceed the gross amount of 3,000 PLN.

The winning projects will receive financial support in the gross amount of 1,000 PLN to 10,000 PLN, depending on the path, as well as organisational, promotional, administrative and logistic help.

Consultations, meetings and documents

Documents, rules and auxiliary materials are available on websites of individual paths. The persons who want to submit their project can also rely on e-mail and phone consultations with co-ordinators of the Wroclaw Culture Zone and Umbrella Foundation teams.

Traditional live information meetings are returning, too – the first of them will be held in Sector 3 (ul. Legnicka 65) on 25th August at 5:30 p.m. The further meeting is scheduled for 3rd September at 5:30 p.m. in Barbara (ul. Świdnicka 8b).

You can meet and talk to co-ordinators of the program also online. They will talk about the most important dates, rules of co-operation and examples of activities during three conversations to be broadcast live on the Facebook page of Microgrants [Mikrogranty].

  • On 26th August, a meeting for youth groups will be held,
  • On 27th August, a meeting for natural persons and informal groups will take place,
  • On 28th August, a meeting for NGOs will be held.
  • Live broadcasts will start exactly at 5:00 p.m.

Much to choose from on housing estates

In the coming weeks, you can take part, e.g., in an unusual city game that will help you discover the curious architectural details of Szczepin and open-air workshops: painting workshops in Pilczyce, photographic workshops in Klecina and the mutual preparation of a brochure with recipes of Polish and Ukrainian cuisine in Psie Pole. Details of upcoming events are available on websites and the Facebook page of Microgrants.
