The artist can never take a break. This is not entirely true, even though musicians often spend their free time attending master classes with virtuosi to collect experience and learn new tricks. Aniello Desiderio, of the best classical guitarists globally, is going to run this year's Summer Guitar Course in Krzyżowa. He was also invited to perform live in Wroclaw.
Desiderio is often called the master guitarist of the century, and his performance at Stary Klasztor is simply a must. A native to Naples, Italy, he already won the title of a child prodigy when he was just eight. He soon garnered awards in a number of competitions and embarked on a splendid international career with such crowning achievements as shows with Die Deutsche Kammerphilharmonie Bremen.
Desiderio decided to prolong his stay in Germany, and he is now appointed Professor at the Koblenz Conservatory while performing a similar function in Avellino, Italy. He often joins classical music and music projects (he has worked with rock guitarists).
His Wroclaw show features mainly classical music, but you can find out for yourselves that his magic is not only about his technique but also about his incredible ear for music. And there is no denying he has got one. He knows how to create any kind of atmosphere, and each rendition of his is convincing and genuine.
The tickets to Aniello Desiderio's show at Stary Klasztor (ul Purkyniego 1) cost 30 and 35 PLN in pre-sales, and 35 and 40 PLN on the day. The Sunday show starts at 7 pm.
