Unique car from Wroclaw enchants Europe [PHOTOS]

Aston Martin from Wroclaw in the colours of the legendary No. Squadron 303 plane became a hit in Europe. This unique car was designed by Wilczynsky – a car maintenance studio.

Wilczynsky, a Wroclaw-based vehicle styling company, designed a car in the colours of the Supermarine Spitfire plane used by Polish pilots from the legendary No. 303 Squadron. The photos of the car became an online hit. (Aston Martin in the colours of a Spitfire plane, photo: Łukasz Bera)

‘It began with our desire to create a demo car that would not only show our skills, but also be a unique item. We had a British car Aston Martin V12 at our disposal. During a brainstorming session, we hit upon an idea to combine it with British aviation and the legendary Polish No. 303 Squadron, which had played such a great role in the Battle of Britain. That's how a design commemorating brilliant Polish pilots was created,’ tells Łukasz Najgebaur, a co-owner of the Wilczynsky studio.

The staff of the car maintenance studio began their work by consulting aviation fans and contacting the Museum of Polish Aviation. Later, they began to transfer their computer designs to the car body using special films. They also darkened the window panes, painted emblems and attached stickers with names of No. 303 Squadron commanders. Thus, the sports car adopted the colours of the fighter plane used during the Battle of England. The design was prepared in co-operation with Andrzej Maciejewski – BigDaddysCars.com. Now the photos of the unconventional Aston Martin car are conquering the Internet.

They are made available by car and aviation websites in Poland and England. Today the car has attracted the attention of Top Gear's journalists, and Facebook users are also delighted with it. ‘I don’t have the words to praise this wonder. Respect for the design you made and, first of all, for having commemorated the Polish Heroes from No. 303 Squadron,’ we can read in the comments. A photo session of this exceptional car was completed by Wroclaw photographer Łukasz Bera. He took photos of the car together with a plane from the Szymanowo airport. The owners of Wilczynsky announce that this is not their last project. ‘We have further ideas and we will look for something special, a kind of bigger message or mission, in each of them,’ they promise.

We are waiting for further projects. To see more photos, visit Wilczynsky’s Facebook page.
