- Current Situation on the Rivers: The hydrological situation in Wrocław is stabilizing. Water levels in the Bystrzyca, Widawa, Ślęza, Oława, and Odra rivers are being continuously monitored, and the forecasts predict a further decrease in water levels. The main surge of the waterr is already behind us, but we are still monitoring the embankments and addressing any potential leaks.
- Involvement of emergency services and residents: I would like to extend my sincere thanks to everyone involved in keeping us safe: firefighters, city companies’ employees, the Territorial Defence Force, municipal guards, volunteers, and residents. Together, we are working to ensure safety, especially by reinforcing embankments and secure the infrastructure. The fire department and other services remain on standby to respond immediately.
- Access to Infrastructure and City Operations: I continue to urge people not to walk ont of the embankments to avoid weakening their structure. Proper safety measures have been implemented, and firefighters, along with other services, are constantly monitoring the condition of the infrastructure. Continous work on reinforcing the embankments and securing key facilities is being done to ensure the continuity of water supply and the safety of residents.
- Appeal to Residents: I ask residents to stay alert and to work with the relevant emergency services. In crisis situations, it is crucial for us to care for our city together. Please report any concerning events and follow the instructions of firefighters and other services responsible for our safety.
