The Air Quality Team is going to drive a number of measures to reduce low-stack emission in collaboration with public offices, research institutions and NGOs. The team is also responsible for carrying out education and information programmes on air pollution and its impact on human health. The Air Quality Team gathers a variety of specialists representing the Wrocław City Office (Health, Environment and Social Communication Departments), Regional Environmental Protection Inspector, Marshal's Office, Wrocław University, Institute for Local Development, Lower Silesia Environmental Club and Lower Silesia Smog Alert. Beata Merenda, Deputy Head of the Environment and Agriculture Department at the Wrocław City Office, was appointed Chairperson of the Air Quality Team.
