Wroclaw Airport – new schedule of flights [LIST]

New domestic flights, an expanded network of business flights and most wanted low-cost destinations – 35 flights in total, which means 7 more than last year. The winter flight schedule in the Wroclaw Airport is richer than ever. It becomes valid already from today (the 26th of October).

35 flights, including 21 low-cost flights, 5 charter flights and as many as 9 business flights. The winter map of flights from the Wroclaw Airport is so extensive that passengers will easily find the most suitable destination for themselves and match flight hours optimally.

9 flights to Warsaw every day

Because of the huge demand for domestic flights (in August 2014, the increase reached a record rate of 62%), carriers decided to expand the offer in the autumn-winter period. Eurolot has introduced a new flight to Warsaw at 7:30 a.m. – it is a convenient time for business passengers, who can plan a morning meeting and a comfortable return by Eurolot or LOT on the same day.

Ryanair decided to maintain the afternoon flight to Warszawa-Modlin (available from April 2014) and to introduce an additional morning flight at 6:50 a.m. in the upcoming season. Thus, the new schedule offers 9 flights to Warsaw every day (and 8 on weekends).(photo: Janusz Krzeszowski)

‘The morning flight by Eurolot to Warsaw at 7:30 a.m. is an optimum proposal for those who are planning a business meeting in the capital. Our passengers have been waiting for this connection. In addition, the offer of cheap Ryanair lines is an excellent supplement to the proposal of traditional carriers flying to Warsaw. If three airlines compete with each other in any form, this will only benefit the passenger,’ says Dariusz Kuś. As regards the network of domestic flights, we must also mention Gdańsk, where passengers are taken by Eurolot.

Strong low-cost

In the winter of 2014, cheap Ryanair airlines will maintain flights to Rome and Barcelona, which were extremely popular in the summer.

‘That’s very good news for persons who plan an individual holiday or short city break. Now we can fly from Wroclaw to Rome and Barcelona, like to London or Paris, at any time of the year,’ says Dariusz Kuś, President of the Wroclaw Airport.(photo: Janusz Krzeszowski)

Other interesting destinations, such as Milan or Bologna, will also remain in Ryanair’s offer. Both of these Italian cities offer many tourist attractions and are good starting points for a longer journey through the picturesque regions of Italy. It is also worth remembering that Milan is an excellent starting base for skiing in the Alps. In addition, the carrier will offer flights to Paris Beauvais again and will introduce flights to the main airport in Glasgow for the first time (until now, Ryanair has landed in Prestwick).(photo: Janusz Krzeszowski)

The offer of low-cost flights is supplemented by WizzAir, which maintains 6 flights in the schedule, including flights to London Luton, Paris Beauvais or Doncaster-Sheffield and the flight to Oslo Torp that was not included in last year’s winter schedule.

Growing business

Flights from Wroclaw to most important European cities and, at the same time, to big hubs are provided by Lufthansa, Germanwings, SAS and Eurolot (the last one only in the winter season). Eurolot will maintain destinations that were introduced in the spring and turned out to be popular among passengers, i.e., Zurich and Paris (Charles De Gaulle Airport). Lufthansa will offer flights to Munich and Frankfurt. Passengers will fly by Germanwings to Dusseldorf, and SAS will take passengers from Wroclaw to Copenhagen.(photo: Wikipedia.org)

‘International network flights from Wroclaw are becoming increasingly popular due to the growing importance of Wroclaw as a business centre and the head office of many foreign companies. Their managerial staff and employees travel frequently,’ says Dariusz Kuś.

More charters

The offer of charter flights for the upcoming season looks attractive. In the winter schedule, tour operators still offer flights to biggest Egyptian centres : Hurghada, Sharm el Sheikh and Marsa Alam (a new destination, as compared to last year’s offer).

Those who love staying on hot beaches in the middle of a frosty winter can also travel to Canary Islands: Lanzarote and Fuerteventura. In these centres, you will surely have a good rest and recharge your batteries before returning home.(photo: Janusz Krzeszowski)

This winter we can go for a ski holiday from Wroclaw to Verona – this offer of Itaka and Rainbow Tours is addressed mainly to families planning a holiday trip during the winter vacation period.

The schedule of flights for the winter season 2014-2015 includes 35 flights, which means 7 more flights than last year. The new schedule will be valid from the 26th of October 2014. SEE SCHEDULE OF FLIGHTS
