The period from the end of October till Christmas is traditionally the hottest time in Amazon’s logistic centres. Because of an increased number of orders, Amazon is looking for temporary workers. They will be employed as warehouse workers in Bielany Wrocławskie near Wroclaw. This is a job opportunity for 2,500 persons.
’We’ve already begun to recruit people in connection with the increased demand of our customer for warehouse support before and around Christmas. For candidates, this is a good way to earn extra money during that time,’ says Dominik Malec from the employment agency Manpower.
Amazon informs that the gross hourly rate is 14 PLN plus a 15% bonus that depends on attendance and achieved results. Candidates from the Wroclaw region have a good chance of getting a job, and the employer guarantees free transport.
‘The workers will perform basic warehouse processes, such as arrangement, packing and labelling of goods,’ adds Dominik Malec
