War refugees from Ukraine have two places in Wroclaw where they can come and eat a warm meal. Breakfasts, dinners and suppers are dispensed to them there every day.
Thousands of meals in Czasoprzestrzeń and Sektor 3
From 4th April, persons from the WCK cook for the needy Ukrainians in the Dąbie depot at ul. Tramwajowa 1-3 in Czasoprzestrzeń. The kitchen is open seven days a week, from 10:00 a.m. till 6:00 p.m. Breakfasts, dinners and suppers are dispensed. Volunteers from the WCK prepare meals also in Sektor 3 at ul. Legnicka 65 on the same days and hours.
Altogether, we dispense around 5,500 meals in two places in Wroclaw every day. Refugees can come to get food also on Catholic and Orthodox Easter.
Dominik Gibowicz, the co-ordinator of works on behalf of the World Central Kitchen: Dishes are dispensed at various times of day. For breakfast, coffee or tea and juices, a sandwich and a sweet bun are served. For dinner, there is soup with the second course. For supper, sandwiches and beverages are served.
Times of dispensing meals are flexible
Breakfasts are available from the morning. Around noon, dinner is served until supplies are exhausted. Then, the dispensing of meals for supper begins.
Ukrainian passports are not checked at the entrance to the meal dispensing points at ul. Tramwajowa 1-3 and Legnicka 65.
