* The child’s place of residence is the place of residence of its parents or the parent having sole parental authority or entrusted with the exercise of parental authority.
If parental authority is shared equally by both parents having a separate place of residence, the child’s place of residence is the place of residence of the parent with whom the child permanently lives. If the child does not live permanently with any of its parents, its place of residence is determined by a guardianship court (Art. 26 § 1 of the Act of 23rd April 1964 – Civil Code, Journal of Laws of 2020, item 1740, as amended).
For recruitment purposes, it is assumed that residence* is:
- a) residence confirmed by permanent registration,
- b) residence confirmed by temporary registration (including the day of 1st September 2021),
- c) residence confirmed by any other document.
