City centre paid parking zone
The current zones A and B in the Wroclaw city centre will be included in the city centre paid parking zone. Parking fees will be collected in this zone every day from Monday to Sunday from 9:00 a.m. till 8:00 p.m. (currently: on weekdays from Monday to Friday from 9:00 a.m. till 6:00 p.m.).
Parking fees in Zone A will amount to
- 7.00 PLN first hour,
- 3.60 PLN – second hour,
- 4.30 PLN – third hour,
- 7.00 PLN – fourth and each next hour).
Parking fees in Zone B will amount to
- 5.00 PLN per hour
- 5.20 second hour,
- 5.50 third hour,
- 5.00 PLN – fourth and each next hour).

The paid parking zone will be established within the borders of the current Zone C. Parking fees will be collected there on weekdays from Monday to Friday from 9:00 a.m. till 6:00 p.m. (unchanged)
- 3.00 PLN per hour
- 3.10 second hour,
- 3.30 third hour,
- 3.00 PLN – fourth and each next hour).
If the parking fee is not paid, the amount of extra fee will not change:
- 100 PLN in the case of payment within 7 days
- 200 PLN in the case of payment after 7 days
- The fee for exceeding the paid parking time will increase:
- 70 PLN in the case of payment within 7 days (currently: 40 PLN),
- 140 PLN in the case of payment after 7 days (currently: 80 PLN).
If the parking fee is not paid, the amount of extra fee will not change:
- 100 PLN in the case of payment within 7 days
- 200 PLN in the case of payment after 7 days
The fee for exceeding the paid parking time will not change, either:
- 40 PLN in the case of payment within 7 days
- 80 PLN in the case of payment after 7 days.
Subscriptions
The rules of granting subscriptions and identifiers to inhabitants, disabled persons and owners of low-emission vehicles will not change. The only exceptions are subscriptions for hydrogen-powered vehicles and two-wheeled vehicles, which will also be subject to the zero parking rate.
As before, “commercial” subscriptions will not be issued in the Zone A of the city centre paid parking zone. However, it will be possible to buy a subscription in Zone B:
- for one month: 400 PLN,
- for six months: 2,000 PLN,
- for one year: 4,000 PLN.
Subscription prices in the paid parking zone (current Zone C) will change:
- for one month: 200 PLN (currently 160 PLN),
- for six months: 1,000 PLN (currently 800 PLN),
- for one year: 2,000 PLN (currently 1,600 PLN).
Subscription prices for low-emission vehicles in the city centre paid parking zone will be varied depending on the zone:
In Zone A, they will amount to:
- for one month: 30 PLN (currently 10 PLN for zones A and B),
- for six months: 150 PLN (currently 50 PLN for zones A and B),
- for one year: 300 PLN (currently 100 PLN for zones A and B),
In Zone B, they will amount to:
- for one month: 10 PLN (currently 10 PLN for zones A and B),
- for six months: 50 PLN (currently 50 PLN for zones A and B),
- for one year: 100 PLN (currently 100 PLN for zones A and B);
The fee for a reserved parking space (envelope) in the paid parking zone (current Zone C) will increase from 460 PLN to 700 PLN. In the city centre paid parking zone, it will be varied depending on the zone:
- for one month in Zone A: 1,600 PLN (currently 850 PLN),
- for one month in Zone B: 1,200 PLN (currently 850 PLN).
Bearer subscriptions for municipal services etc. will be more expensive in the strict city centre and cheaper in the current Zone C.
In zones A and B of the city centre paid parking zone, they will amount to:
- for one month: 200 PLN (currently 160 PLN for zones A, B and C),
- for six months: 1,000 PLN (currently 800 PLN for zones A, B and C),
- for one year: 2,000 PLN (currently 1,600 PLN for zones A, B and C),
In the paid parking zone (current Zone C):
- for one month: 100 PLN (currently 160 PLN for zones A, B and C),
- for six months: 500 PLN (currently 800 PLN for zones A, B and C),
- for one year: 1,000 PLN (currently 1,600 PLN for zones A, B and C),
Borders of the paid parking zone
At the request of inhabitants, the paid parking zone has been expanded with additional areas, e.g., the surroundings of Plac Grunwaldzki. Its precise borders can be seen on the map posted on the website of ZDiUM (Administration of Roads and City Maintenance).
Currently Wroclaw has one of the smallest paid parking zones among big cities in Poland; it encompasses 4,000 parking places. In cities such as Poznań or Szczecin, analogous zones are twice as big. In Kraków, the paid parking zone contains over four times as many parking places.
‘The new rates are supposed to discourage drivers from blocking parking places for many hours, will increase their availability to persons who want to arrange formalities quickly in a bank or an office and will release them for inhabitants of zones. These inhabitants will experience only the benefits of the change, because the rates of subscription fees will not change for them,’ explains Ewa Mazur, the spokesperson for ZDiUM.
