Jarmark Świętojański (St. John's Market)

You can choose from among unique gifts, designer jewellery, original artistic pottery, amber, ecological products from natural materials, e.g. wood and linen. Visitors will also have the opportunity to admire craftsmen at work, for example a blacksmith. For the first time ever, apart from regional products and delicacies known from markets, the wooden booths will offer honey from Podkarpacie and Georgian jams and preserves. Attractions: Floral exhibition at the Pillory, activities for children, etc.
7th Tumski Cup
June 18, 11 am, Barka Tumska, free admission
The best rowing teams from all over the country will compete for the now seventh time. The day-long sporting competitions will be accompanied by numerous attractions on the islands Bielarska and Słodowa and within the Tumski Hotel and Barka Tumska complex: animations for children, oriental performances, food trucks, presentations of disciplines of The World Games 2017, charity events and contests with prizes.
Exhibition: "Europa od kuchni" ("Behind the Scenes of European Cooking")
From 3 June to 31 August, the Museum of Postal Service, on June 3-5 admission to the museum is free
Accompanying event of the festival Europe on the Fork. The exhibition will consist of two elements: a presentation of postage stamps from the series "Europa", dedicated to gastronomy, and photographs selected in the competition entitled "Tracing European Tastes", organized by the Museum and the Office of City Promotion and Tourism.
Fitness on the roof of Arkady Wroclawskie

A joint training will include workout such as: zumba, body workut, piloxing, ABT and cross training with "Wilczak Trenuje" ("Wilczak Workout"). "Admission" to the sporting event is a wrist band, available at the Customer Service Point in exchange for a receipt(s) for purchases made in Arkady Wroclawskie from 1 to June 18, for a minimum amount of 20 PLN.
The Fire People in the City Arsenal

Presentations of craftsmanship skills of a steelworker working with a bloomery, a blacksmith, a potter firing claywork in a kiln, salt workers and glassmakers producing glass ornaments and stained glass tiles, presentations of handling the fire drill.

Celebration of the 106th anniversary of the Fortress Wroclaw

A celebration of the 106th anniversary of the Fortress Wroclaw, the city's unique system of fortifications. As part of the event, all facilities of the Infantry Fort No. 6 will be open. There, you will also be welcome to see the new exhibits related to the fortifications of Wroclaw.
Craft Of Hand Fest
June 17 to 19, Przejście Żelaźnicze
Colourful stalls will offer plenty of unique jewellery, toys, home and fashion accessories, clothes, greeting cards, gifts. Craft of Hand Fest is also about workshops and fashion shows. The catwalk will feature the latest collections of fashion artists who single-handedly sew and decorate clothes unavailable in traditional stores. The collections will be available on site during the two weekends.
9. Caleidoscope of Cultures Festival/Greek Fest & Pakistan Inspiration
June 18, 2 - 10 pm, various locations, according to the programme, free admission
This time, the organizers gave voice to the Greeks, who fled their country in the second half of the 1940s and found refuge in Poland. Saturday, June 18, starts at 2 pm. The afternoon program will begin with Greek dance by Angelo Wangelis and with Belarusian ethno-rock by Recha. The hitliner will be Karolina Cicha & Shafqat Ali Khan Trio / Poland - Pakistan. The traditional after-party in Stary Klasztor will close the event - this year the star are the Matkowski sisters.
4. Wroclaw Night Half Marathon
June 18, from 9 pm, the Olympic Stadium
The runners will start off from the Olympic Stadium at 22.00, the last runners will have appeared at the finish line by 1.30 am. the route is 21 097.5 meters, one loop through the streets of Wroclaw. The total number of participants is 10 000. The half marathon will be accompanied by a variety of additional events. Along the marathon route, small musical ensembles will play selected pieces of classical music. A multimedia show - Project P.I.W.O will be displayed on the east wing of the building of the Regional Office (facing the Oder), with 69 light inserted in the windows of the building.

The fountain operates in the spring and autumn. The shows are organized every day, on the hour, with a music programme; after dark, the show is accompanied by coloured lights.

ECC 2016: Spanish night with Carmen - zarzuela show

Vintage tram rides
Saturday-Sunday, from 12 o'clock, Nowe Horyzonty Cinema, tickets 2-6 PLN
The line runs every weekend. The shuttlesstart off at 12 o'clock from Plac Teatralny and end at the Centennial Hall, with a 30-minute stop. For most of the day, trams circle around the greatest monuments of the Market Square and the surrounding area. The rides are serviced by trams: "Jaś i Małgosia", "Juliusz", "Mikołaj" and "Strachotek."
- At 4 and 5 pm on Saturdays there are two rides with a guide who tells the story of the passed sights on the go. This ride starts on pl. Teatralny, the tram loops by the cathedral.

Ladies Day & Crystal Cup at Partynice

During the Ladies Day, i.e. women's fashion day at the races, airy dresses, fancy hats and crazy fascinators will reign. For the first time ever, a race of the prestigious Crystal Cup Cross Country Challenge cycle will take place. It is an international steeplechase at a distance of 5500 m for the 5-year-olds and older horses with a total prize pool of 172 000 PLN.

Eklektik Session 2016

The event promotes music from the borderline of different styles. The programme includes première performances of Zapp 4&Jan Bang, Miloopa, as well as a concert of Eklektik Orchestra, inspired by the issue of a relationship between man and machine.
"Telescope" by the Main Railway Station
The multimedia installation will allow the residents of Berlin and Wroclaw to briefly visit each other's cities, and to interact. Everything will happen in real time, allowing direct contact between people in both cities.
- 6/19, 1.30 - 2.30 pm Performance: Christoph Teußl and Adam Gusowski. A Polish-German performance that intermediates between both ends of the telescope. Christoph Theußl and AdamGusowski take the Culture Train from Berlin to Wroclaw and check whether everything that the Telescope shows is in line with reality.

"The Seasons" by Haydn at the NFM

Joseph Haydn's oratorio "The Seasons", with lyrics by Gottfried van Swieten (based on the poem "The Seasons" by James Thomson) is unlike other classic Baroque oratorios. The piece does not have a dramatic plot, its protagonists simply talk about the changing seasons.
