'The company declared employment of 20 new employees and an investment of 75 million PLN,' says Monika Korzewicz with the Communication Department of the WSEZ INVEST-PARK. The company will expand its plant and will produce welded metal components for the automotive industry, due for June 2017. This is the company's second permission already.
Wroclaw sub zone of the INVEST-PARK is still growing. By the decision of the Council of Ministers, its area has grown recently by about 14 hectares.
'Currently, sixteen companies operate in the Wroclaw sub zone,' says Monika Korzewicz. 'They have invested nearly 2 billion PLN, and over 6 000 people will find jobs there. Following the extension, its area will cover approximately 300 hectares, offering new investors the remaining 140 hectares of developable land.
The area of the entire WSSE INVEST-PARK has also increased by a total of 270 hectares, and now it is 2920 hectares. It offers investors the remaining nearly 1 360 hectares of land available for developing.
'It is estimated that as much as 8000 jobs can be created as a result of the inclusion of new areas, with capital expenditures of approximately 4 billion PLN,' says Monika Korzewicz.
The WSEZ covers 48 villages in the regions of Lower Silesia, Wielkopolska, Opole and Lubuskie. 179 companies, which have invested a total of 19.1 billion USD and employ 41 000 employees, conduct business there.
