Senior Days are organised by the Wroclaw Senior Centre.
The Hat Parade, which customarily inaugurates Senior Days, will be accompanied by an attempt to beat Wroclaw's hat record (the largest number of people wearing a hat). Surprise ladies will also put on a show. But that is just a beginning. As always, there will be a lot of events in the programme to choose from. For 17 days, the participants in Senior Days 2016 will be in for a wealth of attractions, both free of charge and available at a discount. This veritable myriad of events includes the Senior Expo, Senior Games, Senior Health Academy, overviews, concerts, competitions and balls. This year's edition features singer and musician Wojciech Gąssowski.
One of the events to commence Senior Days 2016 is the final of the "Jak dwie krople wody" [Two Peas in a Pod] competition for Poland's oldest twins. This nationwide contest attracts applications from twins all over Poland. The official gala will be held on 22 September to inaugurate this year's edition of Senior Days. The photos representing Poland's oldest twins will be on display in plac Solny between 31 October and 14 November.
Senior Days come to an end on 9 October.
