Actions in relation to the coronavirus in Wroclaw [REPORT OF APRIL.9 ]

– All restrictions introduced in April continue to apply. Some of them for a week, others for two. Matura exam and exam for eighth-graders (egzamin ósmoklasisty) are postponed until June. The obligation to cover the mouth and nose is being introduced – these are the most important information announced today.

Restrictions from April 9

Rents – amortization of interest

Default interest for late payments that must be made from April 1 until the end of epidemic in the country, are cancelled. Those who will pay the delinquent rent by the end of 2020 and submit an application for the amortization of interest, will have it cancelled. There are 60 days from the end of the epidemic to submit the application.

Wroclaw prizes

The Mayor of Wroclaw's prize awarded on June 24 during Wroclaw Festival will go to prof. Krzysztof Simon - provincial consultant for infectious diseases, a wonderful doctor, a man who is not afraid to tell the truth.

Wroclaw prize for prof. Marcin Drąg, a scientist from Wroclaw University of Technology, Polish Nobel laureate, who together with his team opened the door to development of a medicine to treat COVID-19 by working out the key virus enzyme.

CTG for mums-to-be

Together with Med Systems Group, the City Hall will provide remote CTG devices to pregnant women who are in difficulty. Information on the availability of CTG by phone on +48 71 777 71 92 or +48 71 777 93 88 from Monday to Friday between 8-16. Then verification will be carried out by gynaecological-obstetric staff.

Domestic violence

Nadodrzańskie Centrum Wsparcia (Nadodrze Support Centre) run by MOPS (City Social Welfare Centre), where victims of domestic violence can find help in a crisis, works continuously.

STREETBUS

A bus distributing food for the homeless remains on the streets of Wroclaw. Closed restaurants and food points, and introduced restrictions make this time particularly difficult for the homeless. That's why the bus stays on its route.

Today MPK (public transport) has begun supplying Wroclaw hospitals with home appliances from LG Electronics.
