11 July brings a long-awaited outdoor live music show "Męskie Granie" at the Pergola. The first event in the series was held in Kraków, and the artists are now on their way to Wroclaw.
"We look forward to this great cultural event, and it's the second time the artists are coming to the Centennial Hall area!" says Centennial Hall's Spokesperson Bożena Rudyk.
Access restrictions
A mass event of this size requires time-consuming technical preparations to build the stage and other necessary facilities. In order to improve the safety of the strollers around the Pergola, the Wroclaw Multimedia Fountain area will be closed to the public between 10 and 12 July. On 11 July, access to the Pergola will be granted only to those of you who attend "Męskie Granie 2015".
The coming weekend, access is restricted to the Multimedia Fountain and the Pergola areas, which is why the special Saturday show is cancelled, and the outdoor cinema is also closed. To make up for the inconveniences, two multimedia shows will be held at the fountain on Sunday: "The Cathedral of Democracy" and "Good Morning Marilyn".
Restrictions are in force by 3 pm on Sunday 12 July.
" We would like to apologise for the inconvenience and invite you to visit the Centennial Hall (entrance D3), where you can enjoy the "Good Morning Marilyn" exhibition free of charge. The exhibition features Hollywood icons in Milton H. Greene's photographs"" adds Ms Rudyk.
