Sports climbing - Wrocław Boulder League 2015

Every Sunday until June 14, from 10 a.m., climbing wall CW Tarnogaj ul. Nyska 59, duration approx. 4 h

The 2nd edition of Wroclaw Boulder League will take place between May 17 and June 14. on the days and within the opening hours of the climbing wall (www.centrumwspinaczkowe.pl). Anyone can start their climbing adventure. The climbing centre accepts cards such as MultiSport, OkSystem. Everyone is welcome to take part. IV Lower Silesia NGOs Festival - Social SUPER POWER Day!

Sunday, May 24, 12 a.m.-6 p.m., the square at the Spire in front of the Centennial Hall, admission is free

The event is a family picnic and the biggest NGO festival in the region. There will be activities for children, e.g. classes with animators, performances of circus artists, or bouncy castles. Adults will be able to take part in Nordic walking training, learn first aid, take free prevention tests, and take part in family games. The event will also feature performances by Labirytm and Charles Moon.

Mother's Day at Wyspa Słodowa

Sunday, May 24, 1 a.m. - 7 p.m., Słodowa Island, admission is free

On the occasion of the celebration day of all mothers, the Słodowa Island will become a special zone for women, where mums will have the opportunity to get some beauty tips, diet and coaching tips. The offer also includes workshops, among others, in making ethnic jewellery, body painting (tattoos from different parts of the world), playing on bouncy castles and a meeting with dinosaurs! There will also be a cycling town, Outdoor Library, bubble football, i.e. soccer, in which you play "dressed" in the inflatable ball, as well as badminton pitches, turnball and boules.

Musica Electronica Nova, Electro-Vision - PIERRE HENRY AND THE MAN WITH CAMERA

7 p.m., Nowe Horyzonty Cinema, room no. 1

Presented will be the full version of the 1929 film "Man with a Camera" by Dziga Vertov - one of the most important masterpieces of early experimental cinema. In Wroclaw, the images of the "man with a camera" will be accompanied by a soundtrack composed in 1993 by Pierre Henry, the co-founder of electro-acoustic music. The person responsible for sound projection will be Etienne Bultingaire.
