This summer, "cinemas under the clouds” will function at the Pergola, at the Castle in Leśnica, on the Słodowa Island and on the roof of Renoma. It is an alternative to air-conditioned cinema rooms.
"Taste Life" at the Pergola
Film shows will take place here every Friday in July and August, always immediately after the multimedia fountain show. An auditorium with around 500 seats will be installed on the spot. This year, the first half of the vacation in the Summer Cinema will pass under the slogan “Taste Life”. In July, all films will refer to cooking and the broad cultural and social context that it creates.

Repertoire in August:
In August, a cycle of film shows under the working title “Wroclaw in a Film Frame” is being planned; it will include films whose plot is located in Wroclaw. The project will be carried out together with the Kino Polska TV station. Entrance to all shows is free.
Cinema at the Castle not only for singles
KThe Solo cinema is moving to picturesque terraces of the Zamek (Castle) Cultural Centre in Wroclaw for the entire vacation. This time not only singles are invited. The organisers have prepared a film feast for cinema freaks every Saturday in July and August. The schedule includes 9 events, including 3 film marathons and 6 film events with an afterparty.
For each event, the organisers of Summer Film Evenings have prepared a thematic menu, musical setting, and contests in which you can win invitations for further film evenings and prizes founded by partners of the project. For those who are thirsty or hungry, hot meals, snacks and drinks will be available in bars for the entire evening.

- 30th of August - "Amelia"
All shows are ticketed. Ticket prices: from PLN 55 (single show with an afterparty), from PLN 99 (film marathon) and from PLN 109 (music film marathon). Tickets are available in Biletomat.pl, Biletin.pl and Eventim.pl.
Cinema on the Słodowa Island
>The open-air cinema on the Słodowa Island will accompany us for the entire vacation period. You can spread your blanket on the grass and watch a film every Friday and Saturday after 8:30 p.m. The first film show will take place on Friday the 4th of July.
Cinema under the stars in Renoma
The Renoma Department Store will invite cinema fans to open-air film shows this year, too. As usual, they will be held on the roof.
”Now we are buttoning everything up,” says Barbara Wójcik, Director of Renoma. “But cinema fans can already prepare for August. Every Saturday evening we will offer you a portion of good open-air cinema”, she adds.
So you can book the following dates in your calendar already now: 2nd, 9th, 16th and 30th of August.
