Ryanair opens IT centre in Wroclaw. Job openings!

In May of this year, Ryanair will open an innovative IT centre - a travel laboratory called Travel Labs Poland. This new facility will create 120 jobs. It is yet another investment of the low cost airline in the capital of Lower Silesia.

'We chose Wroclaw over many other European cities. The laboratory will be situated in the centre of Wroclaw,' says Juliusz Komorek, Board Member for Legal Affairs at Ryanair.

Negotiations have been opened in two places. 'We will have concluded the formalities by May. As for now, the first employed people work in a temporary office,' says John Hurley, Board Member for Technology. Ryanair has already employed 10 people, but is still recruiting and looking for more. Generally, they are looking for experts on coding and programming. Ryanair centre's employees will be working on improving the carrier's website and the travelling service apps. Every month, it is used by 20 million people. 'Wroclaw was Ryanair’s first Polish destination and now the carrier opens its first Polish technical base here. We are also pleased that Wroclaw was chosen as the first IT centre,' says Jarosław Wróblewski, Vice President of Wroclaw Airport. Ryanair becomes more visible in Wroclaw

Ryanair Airlines are enhancing its relationship with the capital of Lower Silesia. At the moment, the airport is building a technical base for Ryanair aircraft, which will be fully serviced in Wroclaw. For now, there will be two airplane service stations, but there is a possibility for the base's expansion in the future. This year, the carrier has offered two unusually interesting connections from Wroclaw: Venice and Tenerife. The pool of promotional fares went on sale today. Domestic flights are already available at 9 PLN and international flights at 39 PLN. For information go to the carrier's website.
