  3. Ice rinks kick off

Though the calendar shows autumn, the ice rinks are already frozen solid and welcome to ice skating. On Monday, October 5, two indoor ice rinks will open - in Orbita Hall in ul. Wejherowska and at ul. Spiska. On this day, there will be no charge for sharpening skates. In December, just like last year, the rink at the Wroclaw Stadium it is scheduled to open.

'We hold city-funded classes for students as part of physical education. It is a very good project, which activates children and teenagers, increases attendance at physical education classes, and above all, encourages them to work out. Starting at 5 pm, the rink will be generally available to all comers,' says Maciej Moczko, head of marketing in Wroclaw Training Centre Spartan.

Spartan has prepared something new for ice skaters: special skating training for children and adults.

Special offer

Wroclaw Spartan Training Centre, which manages the ice rinks at ul. Wejherowska and ul. Spiska, prepared a special offer this year.

  • Skating training for children and adults as well as for parents and children: information and registration on www.spartan.wroc.pl
  • Spartan organises company events on ice
  • Free consultations with instructors, 'ABC's: first steps on ice,' every Saturday and Sunday, 8 - 10 am. Everyone willing will be able to ask instructors for help. The offer is addressed to both children and adults.
  • This year, additional 150 pairs of new skates and 300 helmets for rent were purchased.
  • As in the last season, changing the direction of skating will be introduced, signalled by a light (arrow in the right direction) and a beep.
  • Every Monday from 5 pm - family skating: 7 PLN per hour for each family member
  • Each rink has new dryers that can dry 70 pairs of skates at a time.
