The main condition to take part in the lottery is that you submit your PIT 2014 in one of Wroclaw's tax offices and declare Wroclaw as the place of your residence. Additionally, you need to register from 1 March to 8 May by filling in a registration form online www.rozliczpitwewroclawiu.pl or by printing it out and putting in the lottery box at the Resident Service Centre at the Wroclaw City Office (Centrum Obsługi Mieszkańca Urzędu Miejskiego Wrocławia), pl. Nowy Targ 1-8.
"We would like to encourage new tax payers, but we are inviting all residents, everyone can win," says Marcin Urban, City's Treasurer. "We have already topped one billion PLN in revenues from income tax this year, and in general as much as 25% of our budget comes from income tax," explains Marcin Urban.
19 thousand people, including 2,600 new tax payers, joined the campaign last year. They brought over 5.2 million PLN to the city budget.
It is worth noting that those of you who pay their income tax in Wroclaw are also entitled to use the UrbanCard Premium service.
