The new permanent exhibition at the Centennial Hall: Panorama of Lviv

In a specially arranged space of the Centennial Hall an unusual installation was created. Its main component is a spatial model of the eighteenth-century Lviv, built with great attention to detail by architect and historian Janusz Witwicki. The exhibition is accompanied by a modern, multimedia setting that draws visitors closer to both the person of the author and the dramatic post-war fate of the historic model of the city.

Horror Weekend at Loopy`s World

Poland's biggest playground will turn into a real house of fears. All those who visit Loopy's World on these days will face many surprising events. Children will be able to take a ride with a scary train into a mine. They will hunt for treasures in a tomb and visit the house of the Baba Jaga hag, where they will prepare magic potions. The programme also includes ghostly competitions and above all, a frightful portion of laughs.

Wrocław Restaurant Week

The last days of the event. For nine days of the Wroclaw Restaurant Week Festival, 18 Wroclaw's restaurants will offer a special menu, consisting of an appetizer, the main course and a dessert at a promotional price of 39 PLN. As in the previous edition of the event, the festival of flavours will feature prominent eateries, specializing in various cuisines and with the level of gastronomic offer that matches international standards.

Cemetery Art Museum - the old Jewish cemetery

Currently, the Cemetery Art Museum is one of the branches of the City Museum of Wroclaw. The area of the cemetery is about 4.6 hectares, with approx. 12 thousand tombstones. The Wroclaw cemetery significantly differs from many other Jewish necropolises in Europe. Most of the cemetery objects were made in the second half of the nineteenth century, when the fashion for imitation in the arts was widespread. The examples are monuments stylised after nearly all architectural styles, from antiquity to classicism. The later tombstones represent the Art Nouveau and modernism. Many tombstones of the wealthier members of the community were designed by renowned artists, who created genuine works of art.

Ehibition: BODY WORLDS & The Cycle of Life

Visitors have the opportunity to learn about changes in the human body - from conception, through infancy, childhood, maturity, until the autumn of life. Thanks to an innovative process of plastination, invented and patented by Dr. Gunther von Hagens, visitors can admire the inner beauty of our body, look into its innermost recesses and get to know in detail the organ systems, including skeletal, muscular, digestive, respiratory, circulatory and nervous systems. The exhibition is available for 3 months.

Sports climbing - Wrocław Boulder League 2015

Transmission: World Cup finals

Multikino, in cooperation with the Sprite brand and the game's producer Riot Games, welcomes to a broadcast of the 2015 League of Legends World Cup. Transmission of the finals takes place on Saturday, 31 October, at 12 am.
The finals will be broadcast directly from the Mercedes-Benz Arena in Berlin. Tickets: 35 PLN

Halloween at the Zamek Cultural Centre

Take part in a blood-curdling adventure and try to overcome your fears; take the tour of fear of the castle cellars with a group of friends. Only for adults with strong nerves. A group of up to 7.

A hell of a week in SPA

Exhibition: Anna Bujak. Bewilderment

Anna Bujak is one of the most interesting personas of the young generation of Polish artists. The exhibition will present animalistic spatial forms (mixed media technique, steel, aluminum): full and open, which is a kind of a geometric drawing developing in space. Spatial objects will be complemented by drawings and photomontages. The exhibition is part of the 'Patio of the Young' cycle - a presentation of young Wroclaw artists.

The night show marks the end of the multimedia fountain season

On Saturday, the show will feature 'Beauty and the Beast,' 'Dreams,' 'Micro and Macrocosm,' 'The Four Elements,' 'The Cathedral of Democracy' and this year's 'Good Morning Marilyn.' The shows can be seen from the observation deck of Wroclaw Congress Centre at 5 PLN/person. Tickets are available on the day of the events in the main lobby of the Wroclaw Culture Centre (WCK).

The Saints' Night Vol. 2

The night starts with Vespers in the parish of Our Lady Queen of Peace in Popowice at 7 pm, followed by a procession with the relics of dozens of saints and blessed along the city streets. The procession ends at the Parish of St. Hedwig in Kozanów where a solemn Holy Mass will take place, followed by kissing of the relics. Organizers are asking to bring a candle along to illuminate the procession.

Arena - exhibition of works by Maria Lukáčová and Jakub Ročk in Barbara

The exhibition runs from October 30 to November 13
Opening takes place on Oct. 30, and will feature a meeting with artists. "Arena" is a project carried out by Czech artists during their monthly residency under the A-i-RWro (European Capital of Culture Wroclaw 2016) programme, in collaboration with the OPEN AiR - Artist in Residence.

Za Horyzontem in Club Alive

A shanty-folk band from Wroclaw with extensive stage experience. Since 2003, they have played almost half a thousand concerts in Poland and Europe. The band play their own, original material. At concerts, they show what is unique in Polish shanty music - the sea world seen through the eyes of women, with a slightly Irish vibe.

Śląsk Wroclaw meets Lech Poznań for the 14th Ekstraklasa round. Ticket prices for the grandstands B and D are 26 PLN (regular), 21 PLN (reduced) and 18 PLN for students. On the other hand, holders of fan cards can purchase tickets to grandstand C at 42/34/30 PLN. Tickets for children (aged 7-12 years) cost 10 PLN for all stands outside the Family Sector. Jazz All Souls' Day in NFM

Tone Hunting - concert in OPT

The team constituted during the 2011 European tour 'Exploratory Music from Poland.' Artur Majewski and Jakub Suchar, musicians of the duo Mikrokolektyw, performed at the Berlin concert with the accompaniment of Krakow bass player Rafał Mazur and Berlin saxophonist Anna Kałuża. For both Mazur and Kałuża's main field of activity is free improvised music.

This Saturday we celebrate the Forefathers' Eve, the Celts have their eve of Samhain, Cambodia - King's Birthday and in the USA, HALLOWEEN is the rage. Kalambur decided to celebrate this day with a slogan 'The Dead Do Not Worry.' Guests are asked to dress as dead artists, pop-culture icons and the like. It is important that the costume is inspired by someone dead. Those in costumes can expect promotions and surprises at the bar, so it is worth to "go under" on this one evening.

GONSOFUS is an international vocal-instrumental duo, who create music with cross-cultural vibes, which is a dance mix of reggae, dub, hip hop and other music genres. The duo creates music that knows no restrictions of language or culture. So far, the band's oeuvre comprises three independently produced records (2 EPs and 1 album) and five successful tours in Europe and the United States.
