Open throughout the entire summer holidays, these two pavilions in Plac Nowy Targ are there for you to find out if you are in shape and to learn how to improve your health. You can have a number of parameters checked, including BMI, body fat levels, body water levels, bone mineralisation and muscle weight. You can also measure the biological age of your body.

Motion pictures exhibition

Awangarda BWA Wrocław, ul Wita Stwosza 32

This retrospective exhibition brings together other exhibitions which explored the exhibition medium and tested the boundaries between film and exhibition. Łukasz Ronduda and Michał Woliński have been dealing with the topic, both individually and as an ensemble, for more than a decade. Organised as part of 15. T-Mobile Nowe Horyzonty IFF, the exhibition is open to the public between 17 July and 23 August 2015. Preview: 24 July 2015, between 8 pm and 12 am, admission free.

This versatile and temporary structure is similar to Polegiwacz (Recliner) in that it stands in front of the museum and facilitates a variety of events. The pavilion with its adjacent café is a perfect spot to relax and socialise, and a place to exchange ideas, organise discussions, lectures and open-air concerts and events.

The exhibition features 142 photographs from the 1950s, 1960s, 1970s and 1980s to showcase the select portraits representing Marilyn Monroe and other Hollywood icons such as Anita Ekberg, Kim Novak, Sophia Loren, Alberto Giacometti, Andy Warhol, Elizabeth Taylor, Liza Minnelli and Richard Burton.
