Entrepreneurs who cannot conduct or have largely reduced their activity due to restrictions caused by the second pandemic wave may apply for lower rent for municipal commercial premises.
In December, the Mayor of Wroclaw signed a regulation that allows entrepreneurs to request the real property administrator to reduce their monthly rent for the lease of commercial premises due to the announced epidemic state. This support is addressed mainly to the entrepreneurs who have been affected most heavily by restrictions introduced in October – they had to close down or largely reduce their business activity.
Along with the application, the entrepreneur should submit documents confirming the decrease of income in periods for which he applies for lower rent. The decrease of income is determined with regard to the analogous period before the pandemic.
The rent for commercial premises belonging to the Municipality of Wroclaw may be reduced even by 80%. The amount of rent decrease is determined individually on the basis of the submitted application.
Applications must be submitted via relevant real property administrator, e.g., the Municipal Resource Administration or Wrocławskie Mieszkania Sp. z o.o.
