Planes will take off from Wroclaw at 6:20 a.m. and will land in Amsterdam at 8:05 a.m. Afternoon flights are scheduled for 2:10 p.m. from the Wroclaw airport, with arrivals in Netherlands at 4:00 p.m. The morning flight from the Wroclaw airport will be carried out by a plane staying for the night in Wroclaw, which means that the vehicle will be waiting for passengers in the morning.
Jarosław Sztucki, Sales Director of Wroclaw Airport: ‘Two flights a day mean that the handling of transit traffic via Amsterdam will improve.’
Sztucki stresses that landing at Schiphol Airport at 8:05 a.m. makes it possible to transfer to morning flights around Europe and to other continents. And the passengers who have arrived in Amsterdam by morning planes can fly back to Wroclaw in the afternoon.
In the current summer flight schedule, KLM as a member of the SkyTeam alliance offers one afternoon flight on the Wroclaw–Amsterdam route every day.
The Dutch carrier is one of the four network carriers present in Wroclaw Airport. Others are: PLL LOT (Warsaw), Lufthansa (Frankfurt and Munich) and Swiss (Zurich) – airlines belonging to Star Alliance.
From April next year, the airport's offer will include also Finnair (Oneworld alliance), which will provide everyday flights from Wroclaw to Helsinki.
Wroclaw Airport. More new flights in winter
The morning flight to Amsterdam is another new item that will appear in the winter flight schedule of Wroclaw Airport. Also, a charter connection to Kenya has been added to the winter schedule for the first time.
Passengers will fly from Wroclaw to Mombasa – a coastal city located by the Indian Ocean. The first flight has been scheduled for 20th December. This means that you can spend this year’s Christmas under the palms. Planes from Wroclaw to Mombasa will fly once a week on Wednesdays. Low-cost carriers have also announced new winter flights: Wizz Air planes will fly to Valencia and Málaga, and Ryanair will also add Valencia to its offer.
