On 21st November, Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki presented three variants of restrictions. They concern:
- the responsibility stage (will be valid from 28th November 2020 till 27th December 2020),
- the stabilisation stage – the return to the division of Poland into three new zones: red, yellow and green (not earlier than from 28th December 2020, depending on the course of the epidemic).
- the national quarantine (which will be introduced in the last resort when it will be necessary to reduce immediately and radically the transmission of the virus in society).
‘We’re entering a certain period that we call 100 days of solidarity. At the end of this period, a vaccine is very likely to be available. A large part of the vaccinated population will help break the infection chain quickly,’ announced Mateusz Morawiecki.
When the number of infections starts to decrease, the division of Poland into a red, yellow and green zone will be restored not earlier than after 28th December. The gradual loosening of the valid restrictions is also possible.
