As every year, the city runs a campaign that encourages inhabitants to settle their PIT with the Wroclaw address of residence. From 15th February, the first taxpayers may settle their tax returns – we encourage you to enter Wroclaw in your tax return.
30th April is the deadline for the submission and correction of the PIT return. In order to settle your tax in Wroclaw, you only need to correct your address of residence in your tax return. PIT in Wroclaw means financial support in the development of the city in times of epidemic and an opportunity to receive free entrance passes in municipal institutions and a discount on access to other Wroclaw attractions. The city is starting a promotional campaign under the slogan: “Wroclaw depends on you! Settle your PIT in Wroclaw”.
Everyone who pays taxes in the capital of Lower Silesia has an opportunity to take part in Our Wroclaw – a modern program customised to the needs of the city's inhabitants that will bring huge benefits to everyone who will settle their PIT with the Wroclaw address of residence and registers for the program: discounts on tickets to many institutions and attractions, free entrance to the Zoo, Hydropolis, aquapark, etc. once a year and MPK name season tickets at the pre-increase price.
“Wroclaw depends on you! Settle your PIT in Wroclaw”
The year 2020 was difficult not only due to the pandemic and related requirements and restrictions. The lockdown, economic slowdown, loss of jobs – all of this has affected and will continue to affect the city budget, which will be supplied with a lower amount of local fees, PIT and CIT this year.
Therefore, the slogan of the campaign is: “Wroclaw depends on you! Settle your PIT in Wroclaw”. On the one hand, we refer to responsibility for our small homeland and we will show the benefits of paying taxes here for the city; on the other hand, we want to show that the settlement of PIT with the Wroclaw address of residence simply pays off, because we can gain many benefits under the constantly developed Our Wroclaw program.
We know that other cities of Poland follow the example of Wroclaw (e.g., Łódź with its Łódź inhabitant card) – both in the past, when we originated the idea of PIT lotteries, and today, when we offer access to discount prices and free attractions to a large group of inhabitants in the Our Wroclaw program. The pandemic has shown that we can unite and fight for our cities and their better future in difficult times.
