Our Wroclaw Railway is a monthly name ticket entitling passengers to travel by all public transport lines. If you have a monthly ticket for rail travels, travelling by Wroclaw trams and buses will cost 1 PLN per month.
‘The Our Wroclaw Railway new ticket is a continuation of the public transport offer addressed to Wroclaw taxpayers. Our aim is to provide people travelling by rail and public transport around Wroclaw with the possibility of buying a cheaper ticket. Therefore, we are introducing a new monthly ticket at a preferential symbolic price,’ stresses Paulina Tyniec-Piszcz, the director of the Department of Transport of the Wroclaw City Office.
As you may remember, time and season tickets under the URBANCARD package and discounts available in public transport services in Wroclaw have not been accepted in POREGIO and Koleje Dolnośląskie [Lower Silesian Railways] trains since 1st July 2021. This is a consequence of the lack of agreement on the amount of subsidies between the railways and the city. The Our Wroclaw Railway ticket supplements the URBANCARD package in this respect.

Who is entitled to the Our Wroclaw Railway ticket?
From 1st September, the Our Wroclaw Railway ticket will be available to persons who have a monthly name railway ticket for at least 104 PLN which:
- entitles them to travel in both directions,
- is issued for a route which starts and ends on a railway station or stop whose name contains ‘Wroclaw’ or ‘Iwiny’,
- was bought in the normal railway tariff or the RAZEM tariff: a normal ticket or a statutory discount ticket (against the presentation of a document confirming the entitlement to such a discount),
- was bought in paper form at a railway cash desk, from a ticket machine of the railway operator or from the train personnel.
It is also important to check if discounts accepted by the railways are valid in Wroclaw public transport vehicles, too.
How to use this ticket?
The first step is to register in the Our Wroclaw program. If you have done this, check if the Taxpayer Status is active; if not, activate it. Then see if your railway ticket entitles you to purchase a monthly pass in the Our Wroclaw Railway tariff. If it does, you will pay 1 PLN for a normal monthly ticket (or 0.50 PLN for a reduced monthly ticket) when travelling by tram or bus around Wroclaw.
You can buy an Our Wroclaw Railway ticket in the URBANCARD Customer Service Office, in stationary points of sale (e.g., newsstands), in mobile applications or online via urbancard.pl.
However, when travelling by public transport, do not forget to take your valid monthly railway ticket in paper version as well as the URBANCARD with a purchased Our Wroclaw Railway monthly ticket.
Our Wroclaw
The Our Wroclaw program promotes persons who settle their income tax in Wroclaw. The participation in the Our Wroclaw program entitles you to free entrances to city attractions, discounts from several partners of Our Wroclaw, as well as cheaper MPK season tickets – these are available also to persons not travelling by train. More than 150,000 Wroclaw inhabitants have registered in the Our Wroclaw program so far.
