A team of Wroclaw scientists has created a universal preparation which accelerates healing in animals. Even terrible wounds disappear. "As we work with vets, we have witnessed countless cases of wounded dogs, cats and horses that needed something to accelerate the healing process. Traditional methods would require 6 to 7 months and puts both the animal and its owners under enormous stress," says Błażej Dolniak, biotechnologist, Vet Stem Cell founder and animal lover. How does it work?
Hydrogel with active growth factor adheres strictly to the wound and creates a protective barrier while the growth factor is secreted in a controlled and prolonged way. "The factor helps tissues to regenerate quickly with its long-lasting impact on skin cell receptors, which also means that no undesired effects occur in the process," adds Błażej Dolniak. Additionally, the factor is both hypo-allergenic and taste- and fragrance-free, which guarantees safe application. Animals have no need to lick it off their wounds. The product is now used in treatment of wounds which are hard to heal, open wounds with skin loss, skin and epidermis abrasions, burns and bedsore, post-surgery wounds and fur loss.
