Organizers of the Night of Laboratories frankly admit that what inspired them was the Night of Museums, during which thousands of people visit galleries and museums. In the case of the October event, the situation is extraordinary because you can visit the museum throughout the year, paying for admission. Meanwhile, the laboratories which will be made available during the Night of Laboratories, are not available on a daily basis.
The main organizers of the project are Nokia Solutions and Network, and Wroclaw Research Centre EIT+. Among the partners are over a dozen institutions, universities and research institutes. During the Night of Laboratories scientists from the University of Life Sciences, the International Laboratory of High Magnetic Fields and Low Temperatures and the Regional Police Headquarters will share their experiences.
