Active taxpayer status in Our Wroclaw program
A new criteria that will apply from the next recruitment is having an active taxpayer status in the Our Wroclaw program, which will replace the parent’s statement on the settlement of their PIT in Wroclaw for the year preceding the recruitment.
For having an active taxpayer status in the Our Wroclaw program, you can acquire 50 points. Therefore, this will be the most important recruitment criterion.
‘Parents of candidates who live and settle their PIT in Wroclaw form the budget of our city. It is, therefore, very important to fulfil their basic social needs, including a place in public kindergartens for their children,’ says Marcin Miedziński from the Wroclaw City Office. ‘The introduction of a new criterion connected with the active taxpayer status in the Our Wroclaw program will promote families settling their PIT in Wroclaw will make it much easier to verify the application and, consequently, improve the work of kindergartens and the preparation of recruitment documents,’ he adds.
More points for siblings
More points can be obtained also for filing an application for two or more children to be admitted to the same kindergarten or for a child whose sibling(s) already attend(s) the given kindergarten. Within the limits of this criterion, you can obtain 25 points (previously 10 points).
Fully electronic recruitment
In 2022, in order to take part in the electronic recruitment of the child for the kindergarten, a parent will need to have an active trusted/e-PUAP profile. Otherwise, they will not be able to enter their application in the recruitment system and will have to submit it personally to the kindergarten.
In addition, as in 2021, a parent will attach all required documents in the recruitment system without having to visit the kindergarten. Necessary print forms in active PDF format will be published in the relevant tab in the system. Dates of recruitment will be announced by 31st January 2022.
What is Our Wroclaw program and how to activate your taxpayer status?
The Our Wroclaw program promotes persons who settle their income tax in Wroclaw. When participating in the program, you can receive free entrance passes to city attractions (e.g., the aquapark, the Zoo and the Hydropolis), discounts with several partners of the program and cheaper MPK season tickets.
From now on, participation in Our Wroclaw will be also a key criterion in the kindergarten recruitment.
In order to increase your chances in the kindergarten recruitment, you only need to register for the Our Wroclaw program and to activate your taxpayer status. In the first place, you need to set up an account in the Our Wroclaw program on the website of the program or via Our Wroclaw mobile application personally in the Wroclaw City Office at ul. Kotlarska 41. Then activate your taxpayer status.
