Actions in relation to the coronavirus in Wroclaw [REPORT OF MARCH 24]

Actions, answers to questions

• The government has tightened up safety rules for the duration of epidemy 
• Ban on leaving home except for: way to and back from work, other necessary activities like grocery shopping or shopping in a pharmacy. Prohibition does not apply to volunteer. Movement in a group of maximum  2 people (does not apply to families) 
• Prohibition of using  green areas, playgrounds and recreational areas
• Limit of places in public transport and order of keeping physical distance from other people in public places (shops, stops, etc.)
• Prohibition of assemblies 
• Limitation of number of people staying in a church – max. 5 people 
• Limitations related to number of people do not apply to work establishments 

Previous restrictions still apply: prohibition of the activity of cultural institutions, sport facilities, restaurants and the entertainment business, and limitations to the activity of shopping malls. 

Restrictions till April 11.

Buses mostly shuttles according to working timetable until further notice. We will keep an eye on the city traffic and make decisions on an ongoing basis. 

REMOTE EDUCATION:

• It will be difficult because this system has not been used in Poland yet, and now it will be experimented and implemented at the same time. It will be challenging for teachers, parents and students. 
• Action "Widzialna Łapa-Wrocław" – this is the Facebook group where people who cannot take care of their animals may find help. 
• We gave additional 500 shirts to nurses from the casualty department in the hospital on Koszarowa Street.
• 200,000 pages read from free audiobooks shared by the Municipal Public Library.
