The residents of Wroclaw will be able to select from a variety of unique designer jewellery, original handmade pottery, amber and organic articles made of natural materials such as wood or flax. You will also be able to have a look at craftsmen at work, e.g. a blacksmith's workshop. Gourmets will be offered a variety of smoked cheeses, Lithuanian cold meats, breads and tree cakes, Turkish baklava, coffees, teas and spices, organic wines and dried fruits. For the first time in the market's history, you also be able to but honey from the Carpathians and Georgian jams and preserves.
Świętojańskie Gardens
The area around the Pillory will be covered in green again. The Świętojańskie Gardens by the Pillory will feature a myriad of unique plants and modern landscape architecture. There will also be folk inspirations and a green marina with a boat full of flowers. Feel free to join us at our green summer garden to spend time with friends and family.
The area by the Pillory will also attract children with the "Summer Children's Garden", which is full colourful machines for children.
To quench your thirst, visit a wooden cottage called "Młynówka" to have a variety of cold drinks. Those of you who are hungry will be offered to sample traditional Polish cuisine as well as Hungarian round cake and langosh and French pancakes. You will also be able to taste sweet summer delicacies: waffles, wine gums, rainbow candy floss, chocolate-coated fruits and many more.
Świętojański Fair attractions
On Saturday 11 June, a florsit exhibition will be held by the Pillory during which a variety of works from Wroclaw-based florists will be on display.
On Sunday 12 June, a game for parents and children will be held in the Market Square. The Great Family Game brings an opportunity to build "Saint John's Tower"using wooden Jenga blocks. You will also be able to enjoy Native American rhythms with which to enter the summer. Or revel at the sight of enormous soap bubbles.
On Sunday 19 June, a group of Wroclaw-based florists will carry out a florist workshop to be followed by a show and a the best flower wreath competition.
