Meeting at the Japanese Garden

Japanese Garden, 16.00-18.00

On Sunday 24 August 2014 between 16:00 and 18:00, the Japanese Garden will play host to another meeting in a series of monthly meetings organised by the NAMI Foundation. This time round, the programme will include the following:

• Japanese chess (shōgi) lessons and simultaneous go and shōgi sessions at the Tea Pavilion.
• Simplified Japanese chess (dōbutsu shōgi) workshops for children (and adults, too) - you can learn the rules in a few moments, and the game contains all key elements of Japanese chess.
• Kendō and iaidō trainees (Japanese fencing and sword art) from Wroclaw-based clubs such as Ryushinkai and Renshinkan will run an hour-long workshop combined with a performance.

Admission included in the price of the ticket to the Japanese Garden .
