'Studio IKS' - exhibition opening

Painting exhibition presents works by students of the 10th Studio of Painting of Eugeniusz Geppert Academy of Fine Arts in Wroclaw, under Prof. Mark Jakubek and Assistent Marta Borgosz. The 10th Studio of Painting includes students from several different majors: Painting, Graphic Design, Interior Design, Industrial Design, Ceramics, Stage Design and Glass. The exhibition presents their works created in recent times, featuring approximately forty paintings, sketches and small forms of painting.

Thomas Wendt Trio is a group, in which musicians combine their knowledge gained from various musical experiences, the love of jazz, fascination with rhythm and melody, as well as openness to contemporary influences. Thomas Wendt Trio is a band where everyone is a creative composer and improviser, and yet the musicians are able to find a common musical language. In addition to the deeply rooted traditions of jazz, their music is characterized by openness to the search for new paths.

A more than a two-hour musical show full of exhilarating music, excellent humour, twists and turns, a perfect play of light and excellent sound. The performance is considered by both the audience and critics as possibly the best musical show in Poland. The Philharmonic of Humour show comprises a 19-member orchestra conducted by Bernard Chmielarz, and stunning vocal performances of a duo of opera soloists, all led by a phenomenal pianist and leader, Waldemar Malicki.

The Philharmonic of Humour is about classic music transferred to the 21st century.

From the beginning of his artistic activity, the famous French trumpet player showed vast interest in music - from dance music to the combination of funk and jazz. His work can be divided into three distinctive elements: a collective, sound and dynamics of the group. He and his band have released 17 albums already.
