Days of Mutual Respect 2016

November 6-14, various places in Wrocław

Among the events that were prepared for November 6 to 14 are: film reviews in the synagogue, two performances, exhibitions, a concert by Bente Kahan and the March of Mutual Respect.

The program, November 6

• 5 pm (Nowe Horyzonty Cinema, ul. Kazimierza Wielkiego 19-21) "We are the Jews of Breslau" - a première screening of the documentary film, directed by Karin Kaper and Dirk Szusziesa about the life of Jewish teenagers who grew up in Breslau in the 1930s. It is a portrait of a generation that scattered all over the world to save their lives. After the film: a discussion with the film makers.

Kult in the Wrocław Congress Centre

November 6, 7 pm, Wrocław Congress Centre at the Centennial Hall, tickets 65 PLN

Established in 1982 in Warsaw, Kult is the icon of Polish music scene. "Baranek", "Lewe Lewe Loff", "Do Ani", "Gdy nie ma dzieci", "Polska" or "Dziewczyna bez zęba na przedzie" are but a few of the songs that everyone knows, and not only the biggest fans. The band is starting the "Orange Route 2016". Support: Labirytm.

Concert of film music: John Williams Tribute Show at the Centennial Hall

November 6, 7 pm, the Centennial Hall

John Williams is one of the most famous film composers. He has already won 49 Oscar nominations and five statuettes, and the music from "Star Wars" was selected the greatest soundtrack of all time by the American Film Institute in 2005. The music will be performed by the Polish Radio Orchestra and the Academic Choir of Warsaw University of Technology under the direction of Maciej Sztor.
