Saturday, August 8: Tomek Makowiecki
Another rendition of Żywiec Urban Music presents a new solo performance by Tomek Makowiecki, filled with dance, but also moody electronics. It will certainly be a treat for his regular fans and for those, who will meet with his music for the first time.
Pianist, arranger, composer, a graduate of the Music Academy in Wroclaw, he is one of the most acclaimed Polish pianists of the young generation. On a day-to-day basis, he plays with Tomasz Wendt (jazz) and Grubson (hip-hop).
On selected Saturdays in July and August, guitar workshops 'Musical Travels' are held on Słodowa Island at 8.15 pm. Please bring your own guitar. The next meeting will feature Spain and Mexico.
At the Bazaar you can find products manufactured in a traditional, non-mass way. You can fill your basket with thick sour cream, delicious creamy butter, cottage cheese, cow's and goat's milk, pastries and many other rarities.
Every Sunday, Lower Silesia farmers and producers meet to offer a wide range of vegetables: carrots, parsley, courgettes and potatoes, as well as goat's, sheep's and cow's cheese, cottage cheese, ripening and yellow cheese, butter, buttermilk, milk, sausages and cold pressed oils of the best mills in Lower Silesia. There are tables, benches, blankets and free coffee for all guests.
Bee Day is organized on the occasion of the International Day of Bees (August 8). The program includes: mini bee hives, insect houses, fairs of bee keepers, gingerbread makers, health food (honey-based), books and a show of artistic, hand-painted fabrics, exhibition of paintings and outdoor competitions for adults and children.
Yoga in the Park is a non-profit campaign - experienced instructors with Fabryka Energii hold free classes, addressed to all, both those who have practised yoga before and the novices. All you need is to bring a mat or blanket, and put on comfortable clothes.
Every Sunday at 11 am the fitness classes are run by experienced instructors with Jupiter Sport. All persevering participants will be served a protein shake by Barka Tumska. All you need is to bring water, a towel, sports clothes and high spirits.

Every vacation Sunday, you can get to know the latest proposals of Polish and foreign game publishers on Słodowa Island. Rules of the games will traditionally be explained by professional animators.
As part of the National Soap Bubbles Festival, thousands of small and large soap bubbles will hover over Wroclaw. The rules are simple: just come to the Pergola at 2 pm, bring your soap bubbles equipment and start the fun.
For the second time, Partynice Racecourse welcomes to OAKS - a mare-only race. OAKS has more than 200 years of tradition and is famous for its top notch audience and racecourse elegance. It is common that the event belongs to ladies - women in England celebrate it with elegant hats. The total prize pool exceeds 200 000 PLN.
The next concert of the 'Classics on the Island' series is an opportunity to listen to two young musicians, presenting a recently very popular instrument, the accordion. Jakub Gąsior and Dominik Maciążek will perform both solo and in duet.
The final bowling contest as a part of the 23rd edition of the Open Wroclaw Championship. Enrolments are accepted at least one day before the competition, both in the place of the competition at the reception desk, by phone or via e-mail , directly to the head of the competition. The number of entrants is limited.
Dance workshops on Słodowa Island are held on every summer Sunday. And on August 9 we will dance in the style of the stars! MTV Dance classes will be held by Malwina Pietrzyk-Nowak's Studio Ruchu Klub Tańca.

August 9 - Duo Wajlu (Germany) - the theatrical grace of Yiddish music. Two voices, two instruments: Katharina Muther & Roswitha Dasch, accordion & violin.
The duo are a guitarist and vocalist Michał Szablowski and vocalist Ola Turoń who perform acoustic versions of pop hits and own songs.
