Another weekend of the carnival abounds with music events, featuring Soyka, Raz Dwa Trzy, Sabaton, Nestor Band, or Piersi with Kukiz, now yours for the taking! Also, it wouldn't hurt to have some good laughs, so make sure you grab those tickets to Firlej, for yet another edition of Poligon Kabaretowy (Cabaret Range). Wroclaw Gourmet Bazaar

Wroclaw Gourmet Bazaar is a place where you can fill your basket with tasty and healthy products, starting with regional, and ending with the rare, or yet unavailable on Polish market. Apart from the opportunity of buying local and regional products, visitors will be able to sample a vast range of health foods, included the certified ones, dishes of culinary bloggers and various types of cuisines

Story reading at Czekoladziarnia

Actor Kasia Janekowicz prepared a new, interesting story. Kids will be treated to a sweet surprise, and parents will be able to indulge themselves in a moment of leisure with a cup of hot chocolate.

Fitness at the Pergola

The winter edition of the "Fitness at the Pergola" project. Free fitness on selected Sundays of January and February, at 12.00-14.00.Admission is free, but pre-registration is required. Inside Out exhibition

The Synagogue Under White Stork (Synagoga Pod Białym Bocianem), ul. Włodkowica 7, opening: 25.01, 17.00; exhibition is open until March 31, 2015

Documents from more than 20 countries shed new light on the diplomatic events of 1938. They demonstrate how pogroms were perceived on the international arena, and how they had left the borders of Germany and become global.

The exhibition on the second floor of the White Stork Synagogue will be available until March 31, 2015.

Raz Dwa Trzy concert

Raz Dwa Trzy is a Polish music classic, loved by audiences of all ages. Their songs stir conversation and open mind on the here and now. Raz Dwa Trzy are: Adam Nowak - guitar, vocal; Grzegorz Szwałek - electric piano, accordion; Jacek Olejarz - percussion; Jarek Treliński - electric & acoustic guitar, Mirek Kowalik - bass guitar, double bass.

ISFAHAN - City of Polish Children. Polish - Iranian theatre performance

Jerzy Grotowski Institute (Instytut im. Jerzego Grotowskiego), free admission, registration is required

Theatre performance "Isfahan - City of Polish Children" is a result of three-week theatre workshop for kids and teenagers hosted by Iranian artist, Roxana Mehrafzoun in August 2014 at "Firlej" and Jerzy Grotowski Institute.

Nestor Band concert

Greatest hits of the musical giant, Louis Armstrong, performed by Nestor Band under Tadeusz Nestorowicz - an excellent jazz trumpeter and composer, laureate of numerous presitige music festival awards (Jazz Jamboree, Jazz Nad Odrą, Złota Tarka, FAMA). The concert program includes, among others, hits such as "What a Wonderful World" or "Hello Dolly" in modern, and at the same time stylish arrangements. An additional attraction of the project is the lead singer with a voice identical to Louis Armstrong's.

LUXTORPEDA concert

Their début album entitled LUXTORPEDA was launched on 9. May 2011 and is a combination of garage-punk-rock vibes. The lyrics tell stories of everybody's lives, about the struggles, ups and downs, darkness and hope. On 1. April 2014 the band launched their 3. album, entitled A Morał Tej Historii Mógłby Być Taki, Mimo Że Cukrowe, To Jednak Buraki.

Soyka Quintet concert

Stary Klasztor Club, ul. Purkyniego 1, 19.00, tickets: 80 PLN - 1st class, 60 PLN - 2nd class, 40 PLN - 3rd class, 50 PLN - pass (students)

Stanisław Soyka will sing "Absolutely nothing", "Miracle of Oblivion" or "Tolerance", songs of Czeslaw Niemen and Agnieszka Osiecka, as well as songs with lyrics by renowned poems. The performance will be a part of the Ethno Jazz Festival, and will feature excellent musicians that make up SOYKA QUINTET. The ensemble are: Przemek Greger on electric and acoustic guitar, the artist's son - Kuba on percussion, Zbyszek Uhuru Brysiak on percussion instruments and Antoni Gralak on trumpet.

FreeVolous Improvisations, vol. 2

FREEvolous Improvisations at Sanatorium Kultury is a monthly practice for the protection of physical and mental health in the form of wacky, improvised trickster actions that include improvising with sounds, texts, forms of choreography and stage conventions. Yet another FREEvolous Improvisations cycle event: ... A Duo Free Musical&Dance Activity. On stage: Thomas Kolarczyk - double bass, Anna Trzewiczek - choreography.

Bajzel concert

Przybij Piątaka Club, ul. Purkyniego 1, 20.00, tickets: 10 PLN

Bajzel is a restless artistic spirit writes lyrics and records all the sounds himself. By looping live percussion samples, guitar and vocal, he creates music that sounds as if the music was created by an ensemble. His charismatic performances earned him a lot of fans all over Poland (and not only). The musician has recorded four well-reviewed albums already.
