From 6th June, the government defrosts the functioning of cinemas, theatres or philharmonics subject to the following conditions (this is an option, not an obligation): the auditorium is filled up to 50% of capacity to ensure loose contact and the audience wears masks.
At a distance and in a mask
According to the government’s guidelines, the cinema personnel will wear face masks or shields, barriers will stand near cash offices, and chairs, tables, rails, door handles and other surfaces that spectators may touch will be regularly disinfected.
Rooms will be filled up to 50% of capacity and ventilated after each show, spectators may participate in film shows in masks, and seats in the auditorium must be chosen so as to ensure the appropriate distance.
From 6th till 10th June, the best films by David Lynch will be shown.

Other cinemas to be open shortly later
The New Horizons Cinema
invites film lovers from Wednesday 17th June. For a start, they can see a special Oscar-winning film: The Great Beauty by Paolo Sorrentino, combined with a meeting with Jacek Sutryk, Mayor of Wroclaw.
From 17th June, regular film shows will also return. During the first days after its opening, NHC will show the following films: White, White Day, Parasite, Suicide Room. Hater or (preview) The Traitor.
The cinema (including the cinema bistro) will be open every day from 9:00 a.m. till 15 minutes after the start of the last show. Shows will begin at 3:00 p.m. from Monday to Friday and from 12:00 p.m. on weekends.
Cinemas will be opened at a later date also in multiplexes: Multikino, Helios and Cinema City.
Drive-in cinema
On 22nd May, a drive-in cinema is open near the Wroclaw Stadium, from the side of Al. Śląska.
Films are shown on the membrane in 4K technology. The screen size is 1,500 square meters. The company responsible for the technological part of the project assures that it is the biggest screen in Europe.

Prices are counted per car, not per total number of its passengers. The Premium ticket entitles the spectator to occupy a parking place in the first row in front of the screen. During the show, it will be possible to buy snacks like popcorn or nachos and beverages. Only card payments will be accepted.
The only entrance to the cinema is through Gate B of the Wroclaw Stadium, from the side of Al. Śląska, where tickets are checked. Gates will be opened one hour before the first show.
The substantive partner of the drive-in cinema at the Wroclaw Stadium is the Lower Silesian Film Centre.
The drive-in cinema will be organised in accordance with currently valid rules of safety and behaviour in public space.

- PLN 40.00 – one car
- PLN 100.00 – Premium ticket, one car (the price includes also 1 x popcorn, 1 x nachos, 2 x beverage)
